Items to Be Inspected During Operation of Generator

1. During operating, it is required to strictly monitor and record periodically the generator’s voltage, current, power, cycle and the temperature rise of stator coil, stator core and rotator coil etc. , the bearing temperature, and inlet and outlet air temperature etc. shall not exceed the above mentioned regulations.
2. The peephole generators should be complete and the screws at end points shall be firmed without leakage. Observed from the peephole, there shall be no abnormal phenomenon inside the generator and no deformation at the end winding.
3. The air chamber shall be tight, the air cooler shall not leak and the water tube shall have no condensed water drop.
4. The generator casing shall have no local overheating phenomenon, and the noise shall be normal.
5. The bearing pedestal insulation shall not be metal shorted and oil immersed and shall be kept clean and periodically measured for insulation resistance value.
6. Check the generator outgoing line and the outgoing line of the junctions of the connecting outlet switches to confirm there is no discharging and overheating phenomenon.
7.  The operation of CT and PT in the chambers of power generator shall be normally operating and shall have not abnormal noise and electric –discharging phenomena.
8. The excitation regulation screen and generator protection screen shall operate normally and shall have not over heating phenomena.
9.  The electric brush shall be regular inspected to see whether it has spark, overheating, red-hot,  unevenly friction or shaking or sticking phenomena in brush holder,  and the dry cloth not falling fiber shall be used to clean the components around the carbon brush holder, in order to improve its insulation resistance.
